Addison James Hosner, Esq.
Founder and Managing Attorney
Addison J. Hosner, Esq. primarily focuses his practice in the area of marital and family law, but also practices general civil litigation, estate planning, and personal injury.
Addison is a Florida native, born and raised in Fort Myers, Florida. He attended Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, attaining his B.A. in Journalism and pursued his passion in law by attending Creighton University School of Law in Omaha, Nebraska.
During his time in Omaha, Addison concurrently completed a Juris Doctor degree alongside two Master of Science degrees, graduating with all three degrees in three years. He holds a Master of Science degree in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution and a Master of Science degree in Government Organization and Leadership, as well as having completed mediation training to become a certified mediator by the Nebraska Office of Dispute Resolution.
While in Omaha, Addison clerked under a Top 100 National Trial Lawyer, specializing in plaintiffs' personal injury. He spent a semester studying international criminal law abroad in The Hague, Netherlands and Nuremberg, Germany, the site of the historic Nuremberg Trials following World War II. Additionally, he spent a semester in Washington, D.C., working for the Cato Institute’s Center for Constitutional Studies as a legal intern under direction by leaders in the field. Addison was a part of the James Madison Institute’s Leaders Fellowship program for under-40-year-old professionals in the state of Florida from 2018-2020.
Since being admitted to the Florida Bar in May 2019, Addison has worked as an attorney on both coasts of Florida in six different counties and believes that empathetic and compassionate representation that looks to resolve disputes without escalation of the issues is the best method of resolving conflict.
